Welcome to Hackitsune! The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Hackitsune. Hackitsune operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”).  
The below terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein (these “Terms of Service” or “Terms”) describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.

What we do (and what we expect from you)

HacKitsune sells electronics, accessories, and development modules for lawful, ethical, and educational use. Our products are intended for authorized research, network/security assessments, penetration testing with permission, and maker projects. You agree to use our products in line with all laws where you live. You’re responsible for knowing and following those laws. HacKitsune does not condone illegal activity and isn’t liable for misuse.

Online-only store

We operate online only. There is no physical storefront or in-person pickup.

Who can buy

By purchasing, you confirm you are of legal age in your location (or have consent from a legal guardian) and that any information you provide (email, shipping, billing) is accurate and current. If you create an account, keep your credentials secure—you’re responsible for activity under your account.

Orders & availability

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline at our discretion (e.g., stock limits, export restrictions, compliance checks, or obvious errors). Your order is accepted when we send an order confirmation and process payment. If we can’t accept an order, we’ll try to notify you using the contact details you provided.

Pricing, taxes & payment

Prices can change without notice. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout when you place your order. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude taxes, duties, customs, and shipping. You authorize us (or our payment processors) to charge your selected payment method for the total shown at checkout.

Shipping & delivery

We ship to many countries. Delivery times are estimates only. We’re not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control. Title and risk of loss pass to you when we hand the order to the carrier. You’re responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees.

Returns & refunds

Returns and exchanges are handled under our Refund Policy: [LINK]. Please review it before purchasing. For safety and quality reasons, we may not accept returns of items that have been modified, soldered, flashed, or used outside normal evaluation.

Responsible & safe use

Many HacKitsune products are developer tools that require careful handling and appropriate permissions. Always observe rated limits (voltage/current/temperature), ESD precautions, RF and spectrum rules in your country, and any instructions or labeling provided.

Important: Inappropriate use—such as incorrect wiring, over-voltage, reverse polarity, static discharge, excessive heat, mechanical stress, or flashing incompatible firmware—can cause permanent damage to components or degrade performance. Damage resulting from misuse, modification, or operation outside stated limits may not be covered under our returns policy (see details here: [RETURNS POLICY URL]).

You are responsible for ensuring you are authorized to test, transmit, or otherwise operate any connected equipment, signals, or frequencies. Use our products ethically, lawfully, and with proper consent.

Intellectual property

All content on this site—including the HacKitsune name and logo, text, images, graphics, product photos, diagrams, and page layouts—is owned by HacKitsune or our licensors and protected by applicable laws. You may view and use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, redistribute, modify, create derivative works, or publicly display our content without our written permission.
Third-party names and logos (including chip vendors, toolmakers, or platform brands) are the property of their respective owners and used for identification only. Nothing in these Terms transfers to you any ownership of firmware, software, schematics, PCB layouts, documentation, images, or other materials, except as expressly licensed on a product-by-product basis.

Open source & community licensing

We proudly build with—and contribute to—the open-source and maker community.

• Upstream rights retained. Some products, firmware, schematics, or PCB designs we ship incorporate or are derived from open-source projects. In those cases, the original creator’s license and rights remain in force(often Creative Commons, CERN OHL, GPL/MIT/BSD, or similar).

• Attribution & links. Where we use or adapt open materials, we provide clear credit and links to the original creator and the applicable license. You’ll find these details on the product page and/or the linked GitHub repository for that product.

• Our releases. Where possible, HacKitsune releases its own schematics and PCB designs under open licenses(e.g., Creative Commons or similar) that permit personal and commercial use, subject to the license terms stated in the repository or product page.

• Your obligations. If you copy, modify, or redistribute any open-licensed files, you must follow the original license (e.g., attribution, share-alike, notices). If there’s any conflict between these Terms and an open-source license, the open-source license controls for those materials.

• What’s covered where. Each product’s specific licensing (for source code, EDA files, mechanicals, and other assets) is specified per product, typically via a LICENSE file in the linked GitHub repo and/or on the product page.

• Takedowns & corrections. If you are a rights holder and believe attribution is missing or a license notice needs correction, contact us at info@hackitsune.com We’ll review promptly and update as needed.
