    RF Measurement Capabilities

    Antenna Analysis & SWR Testing

Measure antenna impedance, identify resonant frequencies and evaluate standing wave ratio (SWR).

Useful for antenna design, tuning and troubleshooting across a wide range of radio frequency applications.

    S11 – Reflection & Impedance Analysis

Measure reflected signals to evaluate impedance mismatches, return loss and reflection coefficients.

Use Smith charts to visualise complex impedance and understand how RF components behave across different frequencies.

    S21 – Transmission & Filter Analysis

Characterise the transmission performance of RF networks, filters, attenuators and signal paths.

Measure insertion loss and identify filter cutoff frequencies, passbands and attenuation characteristics.

    Phase & Group Delay

Examine phase response and group delay to understand signal propagation and frequency-dependent behaviour through compatible RF networks.

    RF Component Characterisation

Evaluate capacitors, inductors, resonant circuits, impedance-matching networks and passive RF components.

Ideal for use with the Hackitsune NanoVNA 18-in-1 RF Demo & Calibration Board, available separately.

    Technical Requirements

    • Basic knowledge of RF measurement, antenna tuning or electronics is recommended.

    • Compatible SMA RF cables, adapters or connectors appropriate to the device under test.

    • Calibration using the supplied standards is recommended before measurement.

    • Optional computer and compatible NanoVNA analysis software for advanced measurement workflows.

    • MicroSD card up to 32GB for supported storage functionality.

    Firmware & Software

The NanoVNA-H Plus includes onboard firmware and operates independently using its integrated touchscreen.
